Spring break is right around the corner, and it’s time to start thinking about those fabulous vacation plans you have waiting for you. Since (hopefully) you are going somewhere warm, here are some essentials that you should bring to make everything perfect.
Sunscreen – You know you should be wearing sunscreen every day but if you do forget to wear it, you must not forget it when you are in the sun. There is nothing worse than being red and uncomfortable in your best going-out dress.
Aloe – For those times (that I know will never happen) that you accidentally forget your SPF.
White oversized button down shirt – This has saved me on many a trip. You can wear this as an easy cover up on the beach or wrap a belt around your waist and turn it into a cute dress with leggings.
A baseball cap and classic sunglasses – When you have a late night, sometimes being in the sun can be rough for that headache—having extra coverage and UV protectant for your eyes can be a life saver!
A bathing suit that you feel cute AND comfortable in – It’s not-so-adorable to be fixing yourself every five seconds, so this is the time you should splurge on that cute bathing suit that fits you well. It will also last all summer long!
Casual dresses – They will take up less space in your suitcase and its an outfit all in one! No more spending too much time choosing the perfect match of shorts and a shirt.
Camera – Nothing will make you smile more than being able to relive some of the best days of your college career through pictures.
Some school books – There is no better time to study and get ahead than on that long, dreadful plane ride. Might as well make it productive, right?
Cash – We all tend to spend more on vacation, so if you use cash in stead of your card to pay for things, you can end up saving money. Think about it, would you rather pass up three $20 bills or your cute, little, plastic card?
With these items, you are on your way to a relaxing break! Now, if only we could fast-forward two and a half weeks…
