The National Cathedral is a wonderful place to visit, climb up to see the heights, and worship in, if that’s your thing. Another reason to visit the National Cathedral, besides its close proximity to AU’s campus, is Open City opened a cafe in a small building on the Cathedral’s property, right next to the Neo-Gothic style building. You might already know of this cafe, but it is a great spot to read, have a latte, and gaze up at the cathedral like I did, one weirdly warm Sunday afternoon in January.
