The Five Most Popular #WomanCrushWednesdays

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at American chapter.

You know it’s coming. Every Wednesday, like clockwork, your Instagram and Twitter feeds flood with photos that come with the hashtag #wcw, and occasionally a comment about how that woman is “flawless” or is “forever my #wcw”. Here’s a glimpse of what your feed is going to look like come Wednesday.

#WCW 1:Beyonce

Let’s be honest here; Bey is flawless. At least seven girls will remind you of that fact.

#WCW 2: Jennifer Lawrence

J-Law has been on a winning streak since The Hunger Games, and her momentum hasn’t stopped. As every girl’s most-relatable celebrity, she’s the perfect combination of looks, talent, and klutziness that makes us love her so much.

#WCW 3: Kendall and Kylie Jenner

Whether you prefer Kendall or Kylie, in the end they’re both completely envy-worthy. Just take a look at either of their Instagrams and you’ll be wishing that you could call the famous family your own. They kind of are, after watching them grow up on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, like our sisters. Only more fabulous.

#WCW 4: Lupita Nyong’o

After taking the world by storm in “12 Years A Slave” and killing it at the Oscars red carpet, Lupita has been on the rise as a style icon, a role model, and as our #womancrush. Here’s hoping her popularity only continues to rise.

#WCW 5: The Best Friend

At the end of the day, this girl is the one you complain with, laugh with, cry with, and gossip about #mancrushmondays with. She’s someone’s best friend. Every day she’s a girl’s woman crush, but today she gets a photo and a hashtag to celebrate.
