I’m back at it again guys! I have a special place in my heart for some good macaroni and cheese and this recipe right here is for some GOOD mac’n’cheese. Whoever you make this for will surely take you to Red Lobster after taking a bite into this, but who needs Red Lobster when you have KayKay’s Janky Jerk Shrimp recipe (check it out!) to go along with this mac’n’cheese?!

Ingredients:

1 box of cavatappi (or cellentani, depends on the brand and what they call it)

1 10 oz block of sharp cheddar cheese (preferably Cracker Barrel or Kraft)

1 10 oz block of extra sharp cheddar cheese (Cracker Barrel or Kraft)

2 cups of whole milk

2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon of oil (olive oil or vegetable oil)

½ stick of butter or 3-4 tablespoons of butter

4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs

You’ll need:

An 8×11 dish

Cooking spoon

Foil

Tall pot

A strainer

A Grater

Directions:

1.         Fill your pot up half way along with the oil and have it come to a boil. Place the box of macaroni in the pot and allow it to cook up!

2.         As your macaroni is boiling, grate both blocks of cheese! Put a small portion of cheese to the side for the top of the macaroni to give it a little color! (Makes things so much easier for you when the macaroni is finished boiling!)

3.         When the macaroni is done boiling, use your strainer to strain it and get all that good ole hot water out!

4.         Grease the pan with a little butter and sprinkle two tablespoons o breadcrumbs on the bottom of the pan! Place the macaroni in the pan and now let’s work on the cheese!

5.         Pour the milk and the flour in the pot now and stir it around. Add the butter and then throw the cheese in the pot and stir it around!

6.         You want the cheese to look ooey gooey MELTY-licious so when it’s finished melting pour the cheese over the macaroni in the pan and then mix it all around.

7.         Place the left over cheese that you put to the side all over the macaroni and cheese combo and then add enough breadcrumbs over that (depends on your love for breadcrumbs).

8.         Set your oven to 350 degrees and place the pan in the oven for about 30 minutes or until the macaroni cheese is a nice golden colored brown.

9.         Let it cool for a few minutes because it’s going to be HOT HOT HOT.

10.      Dip a spoon in there, get yourself a good piece and taste the Eighth Secret Wonder of the World!
