Not a Dog Person? February Stray of the Month, Kitty Edition

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Alabama chapter.

Name: Eden

Gender: Female

Description: black/tan/white

Not a dog person? Eden and many other feline friends are also up for adoption at the Metro Animal

Shelter. From orange and striped to black and furry, the Metro animal shelter has all colors, sizes

and personalities of cats. Eden’s coat has splotches of white, tan and black and would most likely be

considered a calico cat breed. She is social, loves to play and is not shy. Eden also does well with children

and is not limited to a one person home. She does not like to be held but loves petting and attention.

Eden has been at the shelter since January of 2011 and cannot wait to find a permanent home.

As with all HCA Stray of the Month posts, please contact T-Town PAWS or the Metro animal shelter about adoption. Having a pet is a great responsibility and should be taken seriously. But owning a pet can be the best thing you add to your life!

After spending summer 2011 interning with Atlanta's Q100 morning radio show (and waking up at 3:30am to dress for work) she has a new respect for early birds. When not playing with her three rescued mutts, you'll find her at Gallettes sippin' on a Yellow Hammer screaming ROLL TIDE ROLL!!
