While the weather outside may be cold and gray, February is a really exciting month from Black History Month to Valentine’s Day – and those days off school. Her Campus Akron wanted to get in on this excitement with UA’s Most Eligible Bachelor 2020. We asked student organizations across campus, in every field and interest, to nominate their most eligible bachelor! We were looking for single, masculine-identifying undergraduates to represent their student organization, show off their school pride and tell us why they should be crowned UA’s Most Eligible Bachelor!
We will be posting all our candidates’ profiles right here on our page, and we will be posting the candidates’ pics all over our social media, so stay tuned through February 22nd for all our bachelor action. Plus starting Monday, February 24th, everyone will have the chance to cast their vote for their favorite bachelor on our social media! Now without further ado: Brandon Cugini!
Her Campus (HC): Hi Brandon, what is your major?
Brandon: I am majoring in integrated marketing.
HC: Which student organization nominated you?
Brandon: The American Marketing Association (AMA)
HC: What are your post-graduation plans?
Brandon: [I plan to] move out to Long Beach, California, own a corgi and start a family.
HC: Where is your hometown?
Brandon: Alliance, Ohio.
HC: What is your favorite part about UA?
Brandon: The UA Student community. Everyone is so nice on campus are willing to help you out, no matter what.
HC: Who or what is your biggest source of inspiration?
Brandon: Angela Athrendts. She is the current CEO of Burberry and was one of the youngest women to ever hold a CEO position back at the start of [her] career. She has a vision for the future of business, and she strongly believes it simply starts with people.
HC: Describe yourself in 3 words.
Brandon: Kind, funny and creative.
HC: What is your favorite spot in Akron?
Brandon: The Gorge.
HC: Why are you UA’s Most Eligible Bachelor?
Brandon: Honestly, I don’t even know why I am single! I have everything a guy wants and then more! Hopefully, I won’t be UA’s Most Eligible Bachelor for long ;).
