Orange cats are known to be sociable and love to be around their favorite person. They also have a good appetite and will eat almost any food you would like to feed them. My favorite thing about them is their appearance; they can range from different shades of orange along with numerous striped patterns. There’s a good amount of orange cats represented on TV, so here are my favorites.
- Puss in Boots
My all time favorite movie is Shrek 2, as they introduced Puss in Boots into the series. He is a parody of Zorro and also originally written by Giovanni Straparola in the fable, The Facetious Nights of Straparola. In the Shrek series, his personality is shown of him being mischievous and sneaky, but he will use that to his advantage to help out his friends. He is depicted wearing black leather boots, a hat with a yellow feather, a belt to hold his sword and sometimes a black cape is included. Both the movie and TV-show that he stars in can be found on Netflix.
2. Morris
You may know Morris from being advertised on 9 Lives Cat Food brand. Animal trainor, Bob Martwick, found him at the Humane Society in Hinsdale, Illinois in 1968. He decided that he would be perfect for the brand, so from 1969 to 1978, it was said that Morris had starred in 58 commercials. After his death in 1978, he was replaced by rescue cats with the same appearance.
3. The Baron
If you like anime, you may remember The Baron from Whispers of the Heart and The Cat Returns. His full name is Baron Humbert von Gikkingen. Since he was considered a favorite in Whispers of the Heart, he is given a more extensive role in The Cat Returns. His appearance consists of him being fully dressed in a suit, hat and bowtie. He is considered a deuteragonist who worked in the Cat Bureau.
