Highlights from Pancake Jam Fall 2016

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Agnes Scott chapter.

Pancakes, professors, and pajamas! This semester’s Pancake Jam was filled with memories worth sharing. From the senior’s well anticipated senior song to the break out dance moves in the middle of Evan’s dining room tables, Scotties gave us a night to remember. Here are some highlights from the fun-filled night.

DJ Swanky

He’s becoming a favorite here at Agnes. If you attended Light the Mic earlier this year, you may have been familiar with his style. As always, he and his crew kept everyone on their feet throughout the night. We can’t wait to see him at the next event!

Dancing…lots of it

What else is there to say? Put a bunch of energized college students in a room with good music and that’s all you get!

Pajamas!

One of the best parts of Pancake Jam is seeing all the cool pajamas Scotties wear! And not only do the students participate, but the administration gets all dressed down as well.

Jenga! As a part of the various activities of the night, there were Jenga tournaments in the corner. Seconds after this picture below was taken, the masterpiece came to an end.

Just Dance!

If Scotties weren’t killing it on the dance floor, they were chopping it up on the big screen with their mega dance moves!

The Senior Shout (Volume Alert)

No huge ASC event would be complete without watching the seniors chant the senior shout! Oh, how we’ll miss them in May!

A New Tradition?: The Scottie Scream (Serious Volume Alert)

Rihannon Matthews (aka Alaska), a sophomore at Agnes, asked for this part of Pancake Jam to become a new tradition at Agnes. We are all so used holding in our stress that we don’t really know when/how to let it out. Screaming out all your problems is probably the best way to get rid of some, if not most of the stress you’re feeling. Hopefully, this does become a regular thing for Agnes students after Pancake Jam!
