What to Do in Quarantine Based on Your Sun Sign

Check your sun sign to see what you should do in between social distancing and online classes!

  1. 1. Aries (March 21-April 19)

    - Take a walk around your block or sit in your yard to get some fresh air and new scenery

    - Do some online window shopping! You love shopping and buying new clothes so get on your favorite website and look around

    - Do a quick workout with Planet Fitness’ Facebook live daily classes

  2. 2. Taurus (April 20-May 20)

    - Write poetry. It’s a great way to let out your emotions and clear your head in stressful times. 

    - Learn to cook! The New York Times has an online cooking school with video lessons found here

    - Find meditation videos on YouTube and take 10 minutes a day to ground yourself 

  3. 3. Gemini (May 21-June 20)

    - You love the excitement of travel! Explore new museums such as the Guggenheim or Van Gogh Museum through virtual tours

    - Watch movies on Netflix with your friends using the Netflix Party chrome extension

    - Learn a new language with Duolingo

  4. 4. Cancer (June 21-July 22)

    - Create your own lip scrub and make self care your top priority

    - Make a calm atmosphere to do your work, clean your desk and organize your room to alleviate stress

    - Play your favorite video game! Animal Crossing New Horizons was just released and Cooking Mama is being released March 31st


  5. 5. Leo (July 23-August 22)

    - Read a book! You can access e-books with Project Gutenberg and other free websites

    - Play board games online with friends or with your family

    - Video chat with a friend you’ve been missing and check in on each other daily

  6. 6. Virgo (August 23-September 22)

    - Clean your room! Making a space for yourself is always so important so make sure it’s a comfortable place, especially now. 

    - Learn to do cute origami using YouTube tutorials

    - Check in on and learn about the animals at the National Zoo’s website

  7. 7. Libra (September 23-October 22)

    - Get in touch with your creative side and learn how to draw and paint with free online classes

    - Do your makeup, dress up, and take selfies! It’ll make you feel amazing to actually get dressed instead of wearing your usual sweatpants and pajama shirt

    - Create a schedule for yourself on your calendar app or in a journal to keep up with your daily routine

    - Learn more about astrology and your sign with apps such as Co-Star or websites such as Cafe Astrology 

    - Just Dance! You can find videos of JustDance on YouTube, it’s a great way to be active and have a lot of fun.

    - Write fun stories to get creative and keep your mind active

    - Find yoga classes on YouTube and follow along to promote good blood circulation and relieve stress

    - Make yourself a cup of tea and watch a movie on a Saturday night

    - Destress with free coloring pages! Don’t make yourself do too much and take this opportunity to relax

  10. 10. Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

    - Create your own DIY face mask for relaxing on the weekends

    - Rewatch your favorite show on Netflix!

    - Stargaze from your window or backyard and learn more about the phases of the moon and constellations

  11. 11. Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

    - Listen to lo-fi beats and relax for at least a half hour each day

    - Take a bath or a long soothing shower! It’s important to relax your muscles after a long day of school and work

    - Virtually visit and explore Yellowstone National Park from your home

  12. 12. Pisces (February 19-March 20)

    - Experience the NYC Metropolitan Opera from the comfort of your bed with their live stream performances

    - Listen to your favorite history or true crime podcasts while drinking your morning coffee

    - Have dinner with friends over video chat to catch up and social distance together

Don’t think you have to do everything during this quarantine. Make sure to check in on your mental health and reach out to friends for support, especially if you are in a stressful environment to finish the semester. We can all be apart together :)
