They have flavors from the Everything Nugget—resembling an everything bagel—to Cap’n Crunk and Southern Belle. My advice is get a combination and try a mix of everything, trust me you won’t be disappointed, especially with the slew of sauces. The BBQ is the standard way to go.

Every New Yorker knows if you haven’t tried a NY hot dog, well, you’re truly missing out. Located between Ave A & 1st Ave , Crif Dogs makes you question everything you thought you knew about a hot dog. They have everything imaginable you would want and you can even build your own to your wish. My suggestions is to try the Chihuahua, the hotdog wrapped in bacon, or the Spicy Redneck. They have the classic sides of waffle fries and tater tots. Also, if you are twenty-one and older they have a hidden surprise inside.
Veniero’s Pastry Shop
If you have a sweet tooth look no further, America’s oldest Italian pastry has a classic feel that offers anything you love about an Italian bakery. Located between 1st Ave and 2nd Ave, they have a sit down menu that is endless and the service is impeccable. Honestly, I would splurge here because why wait for dinner? Try the cannoli, New York cheesecake, and for extra choose from the selection of delicious gelatos. You’ll feel like you’re in Italy.
Otto Enoteca
This place has a romantic, cool setting for an italian restaurant which makes it the most splendid place for a date. Even though it might be on the expensive side, it is definitely worth the extra investment. I suggest for an appetizer a plate of various cheeses and let them choose for you. For dinner, well, anything you choose here you can’t go wrong.
