Types of Classroom Fashion

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Adelphi chapter.

Around campus I see all sorts of style. Although no one person’s sense of fashion is the same, I do see a lot of similarities on campus, whether it’s outside, in the cafeteria, or in the classroom. Classroom fashion is always very interesting to me because it’s important to be comfortable in what you’re wearing since you’ll be sitting for at least 50 minutes. I took a close look at the fashion in my classes and these are some specific style examples, and items I saw often.

Leggings:

Leggings are a girl’s best friend when it comes to looking stylish and comfortable. Pair it with a chunky sweater, your favorite shirt, or a sweatshirt. They’re comfortable and light enough to give your legs a break from those skinny jeans you’ve been wearing.

Stylish Backpacks:

I have been seeing many cute backpacks around lately. Whether they are floral, or Aztec print, they add flare to any outfit, and help with the heavy load of texbooks!

PINK Gear:

Victoria’s Secret never fails to make products that I love. Their brand PINK sells anything from cute sweats to water bottles! I am constantly seeing girls wearing items with the word “PINK” across them. Their sweatpants are so soft and stylish and their water bottles always have cute sayings and/or designs on them. Who knew wearing sweats could look so cute?

Uggs:

Some may consider Uggs “ugly” and a trend of the past, but I’m always seeing them around campus on the feet of both women AND men. Who could resist these boots? They are so comfortable and warm especially for the cold weather. They’re easy to just slip on and go!
