Hello, just checking in, how was your national donut day? Mine was great, thank you for asking. Since I care so much about our donut intake, I wanted to share some extremely exciting and important news. You already know that Krispy Kreme donuts are like fresh fried dough that landed straight from heaven to bless your appetite with sugar—and now, the donut company is essentially creating heaven right here on earth.
That’s right, we’re about to experience the donut adventure of a lifetime with this round-the-clock Krispy Kreme location in New York City. It’s like the Willy Wonka factory (sans the weird side effects and Johnny Depp) — complete with a literal waterfall of glaze and stadium seating where you can watch the magic happen the donut-making process. The new storefront is expected to open in early 2020, and if that feels like too far away, I have more good news.
Krispy also launched their summer line and I am living for it. It’s like your cute summer picnic spread transformed into a donut and became a little more sugary. They went for an island feel with pineapple, key lime pie, and strawberry — and I will say they are the sweetest and most gentle looking donuts I have ever seen. The Krispy creators are such sweethearts. You have to be fast though, they are only available for the next couple of days.
I guess Krispy Kreme just decided to flex on all of us and really pull out all the stops here and I appreciate it very much. Love you, Krispy Kreme. Mean it.
