- Bamboo toothbrushes, $10

Switching up your toothbrush might not feel like it’s going to change the world, but it kind of will. Small things add up, and a ton of plastic toothbrushes just floating around in the ocean doesn’t sit well for me. I’m living for these bamboo toothbrushes from Sand Cloud right now because they’re cute, they’re functional, and they’re affordable. A win-win. – Rachel
- This plant-based laundry detergent, $16

Do you ever think about how much plastic you’re using on everyday tasks, like your laundry? Probably not. But these laundry pods from Dropps, an eco-friendly cleaning brand, are plant-based, and determined to help you get plastic out of your life. Plus, they leave your clothes nice and fresh, and you need just one tiny pod to clean you entire wardrobe. Yes please. – Rachel
- This clean-up kit, $29
-
I’m a super neat, clean person. I literally clean my apartment like every weekend, and that means going through a lot of disposable bottles and sprays to make sure everything is fresh. That many household cleaning products also means a lot of wasteful packaging, which is why I’ve been sooo into Blueland. They have cleanup kits and starter sets that seriously help you cut down on waste, by transferring cleaning supplies into these super lovely reusable bottles. It’s exactly what you need if you want to focus on getting more sustainable! – Gina
- This packaging-free Lush Naked Facial Oil, $12.95
-
I’ve been more mindful of my waste and have been opting for more package free beauty products. I’ve been loving Lush’s Argan naked facial oil as a moisturizer in the morning. It gives my skin a nautral glowing look and it smells amazing. – Edel
- These upcycled socks, $12
-
I kept seeing the word “upcycled” pretty much everywhere when it came to sustainable fashion, so I decided to start with my basics. Enter these crew socks from Arvin Goods. They’re basically a bargain, and I loooove the color selection. They also have amazing bralettes & underwear so you can live your best life with minimal plastic, wasted energy, and crappy fabric. – Rachel
- And, of course, metal straws, $11
-
Ever since Starbucks announced they were ditching straws, conversations about eco-friendly straw alternatives have been aaaaall over the place. While not everyone can just up an abandon plastic straws, I’ve found these metal ones to be hugely convenient. I keep it in its little pouch in my bag basically all the time, and then I have one when I need it. Plus, the cleaning brush has made this my longest-lasting straw, allowing me to minimize waste. – Rachel
