The company celebrated their 40th grand opening at their flagship store in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, on July 29, 2023, and cosplayers and families alike flocked to the store to see the spooktacular setup.
With August in full swing, that means it’s almost time to head back to school — which means it’s almost time for fall and Halloween. If you’re wondering when Spirit Halloween stores open for 2023, you’re in luck. If you don’t have a Spirit Halloween store near you that’s already open, it’s only a matter of days until you do. Many Spirit Halloween stores are opening in August, with others coming in September. Each location varies on when its opening date is, though.
Luckily, Spirit Halloween has the Spirit Halloween Store Locator on their website, where you can find a store near you as well as its opening date and hours. For example, if you’re on the East Coast, the Spirit Halloween stores in Reading, Massachusetts; Atlas Park Shops in Queens, New York; and the Philadelphia Mills in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania are all open as of Aug. 8. If you’re on the West Coast, the Spirit Halloween store in Pasadena, California is open as well. There are tons of locations all over the country, though, that will be opening their doors soon.

And this brand is one you can get behind giving your money to, too — in 2006, Spirit Halloween created a program called Spirit of Children, where they bring Halloween decorations and costumes to children’s hospitals throughout the country.
