Starbucks’ Vibrant Tie-Dye Frappuccino Will Add a Burst of Color to Your Summer

Summer is the time when trendy food and drinks flood our Instagram feeds and Starbucks has delivered yet another Instagram-ready, aesthetically pleasing beverage. Starbucks’ new vibrant and totally groovy Tie-Dye Frappuccino is the perfect colorful summer accessory.

The new summer Frappuccino is as sweet as it is summery, with yellow, red and blue colors swirled together to create a tie-dye effect, Delish reports. Thankfully, the crème-based frapp isn’t just pure food coloring — Starbucks announced that the drink gets its vibrant coloring from turmeric, red beets and spirulina.

The summer beverage is topped with vanilla whipped cream and sprinkled with yellow, red and blue powder, making it super colorful and really driving home that tie-dye vibe.

According to a press release from Starbucks, the Tie-Dye Frappuccino “has a tropical fruit flavor that will take you to your happiest place.”

Several Twitter users have compared the latest frapp to banana Laffy Taffy, so the Tie-Dye Frappuccino is definitely summer in a Starbucks’ cup.

The colorful frapp launched at participating U.S. and Canadian locations on Wednesday, July 10, and, unfortunately, like many of our Starbucks’ favorites, is only available for a limited time, Food & Wine Magazine reports. In fact, according to Starbucks’ press release, the Tie-Dye Frappuccino will only be sold “for a few days,” while supplies last. In other words, if you want to sip on this colorful, summery drink, you need to get to Starbucks ASAP.

So, put on your most colorful tie-dye apparel and head to Starbucks, like now, for this truly groovy treat.
