Finals may be over, but we still love discovering new ways to procrastinate! Tumblr, the newest and coolest micro-blogging service, is one of our current favorite distractions. Tumblr users can post text, images, videos, links, quotes and even audio to their pages. Lucy Hale
As Aria, one of our favorite members of the Pretty Little Liarscast, Lucy Hale has spunk and incredible style. And her Tumblr takes us one step closer to getting to know the intelligent and ambitious starlet. Her blog, called “Honey I’m Home” and featuring the caption, “Live and let go”, is chock full of funny videos, pictures of her on the set of PLL, musings about tabloid posts and comments about the things she’s up to in her career. Through reading her blog, it becomes clear that Lucy is an effective writer, has a great sense of humor and makes a concerted effort to get to know her fans – she’s the total package!

Suri’s Burn Book
The daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has an entertaining Tumblr called “Suri’s Burn Book”, complete with her own commentary on other celebrity children and their parents. The headline of her Tumblr reads “Just because you don’t have a Ferragamo handbag doesn’t mean you can behave like a child (I’m looking at you, Shiloh)”, so it’s probably safe to assume that the five-year-old isn’t the author of this sassy blog. Some speculate that the blog is written by Suri’s nanny or an anonymous comedian. In any event, the commentary on the lives of other Hollywood stars and their children is hilarious, spot-on, and a definite must-read.

Rachel Zoe
This fashion guru is at the top of her game right now – in addition to being one of the best known celebrity stylists in the biz, she’s a new mom, she has her own reality TV show and her clothing line is doing extremely well. Lucky for us, she also has an awesome Tumblr that features daily commentary about her favorite ensembles (both her own line and others), as well as pictures of celebrities wearing her line and potential looks for big nights out (think Christmas and New Year’s Eve). Why pay so much attention to updating a blog? Zoe believes it’s important to help us “Be glamorous. Every day.”

Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga’s newest Tumblr, AmenFashion, popped up last summer after the singer apparently tired of the 140-character limit which accompanies Twitter accounts. On her Tumblr, she posts mostly photos of herself in different outfits, but there are captions strung through the posts as well – a recent addition read “I will not be defined by the beauty or music projected upon me.” It looks like Mother Monster is well on her way to overtaking every social media outlet on the Internet – and who can blame us for our curiosity?

Ingrid’s soft and sultry music often makes an appearance on her Tumblr page. She posts new songs, responses to her fans’ comments, and adds cool photos and updates about the events and venues she will be playing at. She attends to her Tumblr fairly often, and reading her page makes it obvious that this talented musician is still genuine and humble despite her fame (a rare quality when it comes to celebs). And if she’s not up to anything exciting career-wise, she still makes sure to stop by her “blog time, fun time” Tumblr to post funny photos (old family photos, anyone?) and interesting quotes.

While her character Quinn Fabray may have turned into a rebel this season on Glee, Dianna still maintains her character’s clean-cut image of previous seasons on her Tumblr page, called “Fell Down the Rabbit Hole” and headlined “Dianna Agron, but you can call me Charlie”. Unlike many of the other celebrities who maintain their own Tumblr accounts, Dianna posts long, thought-provoking pieces of prose on her page when she has the time. She invites her fans to write to her, and even promises to write back. She also posts photos and videos occasionally and has her fans wondering who in the world “Charlie” is (something she has been promising to tell them soon).

If you’re a fan of Anthony Bourdain’s Travel Channel show “No Reservations”, you’ll love “The Layover”, his newest program. You’ll also love his Tumblr page, which keeps fans up-to-date on his musings, filmings and daily activities. Bourdain is a great writer and an unmatched expert in food and travel, so if you have ever wondered what it feels like to be a busy celeb, his blog reads like a novel that will draw you into his world. Plus, he loves to post controversial thoughts and feelings, so fans are never at a loss for entertainment.

Recently back in the spotlight with her show “New Girl”, Zooey seems to be very similar to the quirky, off-the-wall characters she often plays in movies and TV shows. Her Tumblr, called “Zooey’s Miscellany”, is a diary of sorts that helps fans get to know her. If you ever doubted that Brit was back in the game, her Tumblr will prove you wrong 100 times over. In fact, right now she’s in the running for “The Best Celeb Hitmaker of the 2011” with Adele, Katy Perry and Rihanna, a contest which is monitored right on her Tumblr page.

The beloved bassist and lead vocalist of Fall Out Boyhas now moved on to owning a record label (he’s the one who signed Panic! at the Discoand Gym Class Heroes), and he narrates his life experiences on his Tumblr. Like other celebs, Pete uses his page as a way to share his favorite things and to express his love for art and music. He posts pictures of artwork, postings for music shows, funny cartoons and pictures of himself and his friends.
