Apparently, people — even those with the degree of fame that Eminem has — still use the word “f****t” as an insult in 2018. The rapper used the homophobic slur against Tyler, the Creator in a track on his new album, “Kamikaze.”
Now, he’s apologizing (more like, attempting to apologize, TBH).
“I think the word that I called him on that song was one of the things where I felt like this might be too far,” Eminem said in an interview with Sway. “Because in my quest to hurt him, I realize that I was hurting a lot of other people by saying it. … It was one of the things that I kept going back to and going ‘I don’t feel right with this.'”

Eminem added that he “wasn’t in the right mind frame” since he was angry. He specifically targeted Tyler because of a tweet that apparently criticized Eminem’s track “Walk on Water.”

Tyler hasn’t officially stated that he’s gay or bisexual, but his latest album seemed to hint toward it. Regardless, Eminem shouldn’t have used the word.
That hasn’t stopped him before, though. The rapper has frequently used the slur in the past, including on two of his albums.
