Queen Bey never seems to fail us, and she definitely came through for Gal Gadot during her Wonder Woman auditions. We know what you’re thinking: “OMG, Gal Gadot and Beyoncé hung out?! BFF goals!” Not quite. (We wish!)
While waiting to audition for Batman v Superman, Gadot needed a little confidence boost, so she turned to our favorite hype woman: Beyoncé.
Gal told W magazine in April how Bey helped her shake off her nerves. “They were looking at six or seven girls, and we were all in separate trailers and were told to stay inside until they called us. Waiting is my enemy number one, and I was losing my mind,” Gal explained. “So, I decided to put on Beyoncé. ‘Who runs the world? Girls!’ I just started to dance, and I let my anxiety go. Thank you, Beyoncé!”
So we can thank Beyoncé for the perfect girl power anthem and the perfect Wonder Woman. Long live, Queen Bey!
