7 Red Flags We’re Seeing on ‘The Bachelorette’

Knowing how to notice red flags is the key to a successful run on The Bachelorette. After all, Kaitlyn has to determine who is there for the right reasons and who isn’t. Already in Week 2, the red flags were flying high among the crop of so-so guys ABC has tasked Kaitlyn with dating—and kissing excessively. We just hope she spotted these 7 red flags from this week’s episode.

1. Amy Schumer thinks he’s a turd

As several of the guys pointed out, Amy Schumer is a comedic genius. So if she couldn’t even muster a giggle for JJ’s “jokes” about his elevated intelligence, you know this guy is trouble. We just hate to say this wasn’t his worst offense.

2. He aggressively assaults a fellow suitor

We’re not sure who we’re more sorry for here. Of course, we don’t think Ben Z. meant to send Jared to the hospital. Isn’t it mandatory at this point that at least one fella be sent to the ER in a showcasing of supposed sportiness? But we’d keep an eye on this one.

3. He sends secretive notes

Anonymous love notes have become a staple on the show in the past few years. But we think Nick, who first harassed Andi with several letters after she dumped him for Josh, has a monopoly on the note-writing game. Maybe he’ll put Jared in his place when he shows up in a few weeks. Or maybe they’ll just talk about their feelings.

4. He loves bragging about how sensitive he is…

But none of it makes any sense. Exhibit A: Tony.

5. He takes getting a rose way too seriously

Strike two, JJ! Kaitlyn gave him the group date rose because of the sweet way he spoke about his daughter, but JJ’s clearly not here to make friends. As a matter of fact, we think he’s here to make enemies. Approaching villain status.

6. He doesn’t know when to quit

We applaud Kupah for being direct with Kaitlyn. If only he could’ve nixed the interrogation. He repeatedly stuck his foot in his mouth, which makes us Team Kaitlyn all the way. To top it off, he practically refused to leave when she decided to send him packing, and the episode ended with an escalating confrontation between Kupah and producers. And a “To Be Continued,” of course!

7. He’s in love with Britt

Okay, so maybe Brady technically isn’t fighting for Kaitlyn’s heart anymore. But we still see a problem with this mini-spinoff dominating what used to be our coveted blooper time. On the bright side, at least Britt found someone to share clothes with.

What red flags did you see from Kaitlyn’s suitors, collegiettes?
