If there’s one celebrity couple that never seems to catch a break, it would definitely be Justin and Hailey Bieber. It feels like every week, the couple has some new drama going on in their relationship. I’m sure we can all remember the incident of Justin’s unusual outfit at Hailey’s Rhode beauty event. It’s hard to forget when he was seen wearing sweatpants, yellow Crocs, and a baseball cap over a hood while Hailey stunned in a red mini dress at this formal event for the launch of her strawberry-glazed peptide lip treatment.
Aside from this, the couple also face ongoing drama with the internet trying to cause drama between them and Justin’s ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez. I mean, everyone loves some good celebrity gossip, but with Justin and Hailey, it’s just getting pretty sad, and sort of scary after a post by Hailey’s father.
On Feb. 28, Hailey’s dad, Stephen Baldwin, took to his Instagram to ask for prayers for the couple, which concerned many fans. Both the Baldwin family and the Bieber family are known to be very proud of their shared faith. Justin often speaks out on his Christianity, however, Baldwin’s prayer requests for the couple raised some concerns.
Baldwin shared on his Instagram story, which has now expired, a repost of a reel shared by Victor Marx, that read, “Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them, to have wisdom, protection and to draw close to the Lord.” Baldwin followed this post with a reposted reel created by Justin himself, which is a of him playing the guitar and singing “I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever” by Delirious? and Hillsong Worship.
According to Page Six, the caption on the post read, “Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them to have wisdom, protection and to draw close to the Lord.”
Hours after Baldwin’s post, Hailey and Justin were spotted attending a service at the Churchome Church at the Saban Theater in Los Angeles.
The uneasy history of Hailey and Justin’s public relationship made many wonder if things were going ok with the celebrity couple. On Mar. 6, Hailey Bieber posted a brief statement on her IG Story about the internet’s speculation over her and Justin’s relationship.
She wrote, “Just FYI the stories and constant ‘blind items’ I see on TikTok are 100% of the time wrong. Made out of thin air…come from the land of delusion…”
Hailey then added, “So I know it may be fun feeding into these stories but just know they’re always false xx sorry to spoil it.”
While Hailey didn’t specify what she was referring to in the post, it seemed like the post could be a response to the internet spiraling over her dad Stephen’s cryptic IG post.
As of now, we don’t know what Stephen Baldwin’s post was about or what exactly is going on with the Biebers. But from Hailey’s post, it seems like everything is good between her and Justin — or so we hope.
