Universal Studios’ Halloween Celebration Will Have A ‘Stranger Things’ Storyline & You Can Legit Get Scared In The Upside Down

If you’ve ever dreamed of living in Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s (like many of us Stranger Things fans definitely have) you don’t have to wait much longer.

This fall, Universal Studios in Orlando will be unveiling a haunted house maze based off the beloved Netflix series Stranger Things, according to The Orlando Sentinel. The maze will be an authentic recreation of season one, set in the iconic Upside Down, the Byer’s living room, and the sinister laboratory where Eleven was experimented on. It was also include appearances by the Demorgon and, of course, the kids.

Open for 34 select nights during Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights celebration (running from September 14 and November 3), the maze will surely be filling the void left in Stranger Things’ fan’s hearts after the end of season two.

While we wait for season three to premiere on Netflix, the haunted maze will take us back to the beginning — “You’ll faithfully follow the storyline,” of the first season, starting off in the seemingly-normal Hawkins, “and then ending up where things have gone terribly, terribly wrong” says Patrick Braillard (Universal Orlando’s show director).

Universal is working with Netflix and the show’s creators and executive producers the Duffer Brothers to make the show as authentic as possible. But the real question is— will Steve be there to hold our hands and guide us through the maze?

For Stranger Things fanatics, this is something you can’t miss. Watch the announcement video below and get ready to buy your tickets immediately.
