There’s Reportedly Some Beef Brewing Between Trump & John Kelly After Kelly Allegedly Called Him An ‘Idiot’

According to eight White House officials, Chief of Staff, John Kelly has insulted President Donald Trump’s intelligence and portrayed himself as the “savior of the country,” NBC News reports.

Four officials say Kelly has referred to Trump as, “an idiot.” Kelly, as CNN noted, says these claims are, “total BS.”

In the nine months that Kelly has served as Chief of Staff, female staffers have reported that his remarks have “rattled,” them according to NBC News. Remarks that include, women are more emotional than men. While a White House spokesperson has said, Kelly is the “bigger gentleman” in meetings and refuses to use foul language when a woman is present.

Most notable is Presidential historian Michael Beschloss comments about Kelly. He says when compared to previous White House chiefs of staff Kelly, “suggests a lack of respect for the sitting president of a kind that we haven’t seen before.”

Kelly is the second Chief of Staff for the Trump administration and those inside the White House have noted the hostility and tension between the two men. Kelly successfully convinced Trump to not withdraw U.S. troops from the Korean Peninsula. The conversation became heated and officials noted this was Kelly’s way of saying, “I’m the one saving the country.”

A White House spokesperson also said reports of Kelly’s remarks were false.

Many are unsure if Kelly will last until his one year anniversary in July, or if tensions are too high and his departure will be soon.  Until then it remains to be a game of he said, she said, and we will have to patiently wait to see the fate of the second Chief of Staff for the Trump Administration.
