Sticky Situation: The Backless Dress

This is a pretty dress, right?

But sometimes, when looking to purchase one of these backless dresses, you stop and think to yourself, ‘eh, not worth the trouble of tracking down a good sticky bra.’

Fair argument. Sticky bras can be hard to find in stores sometimes, they can fit wrong, and in this current heatpocalypse, they can get a little bogged down by some unwelcome sweat.

In a moment of bravery and pure dedication to testing out products for HC Approved! I went out on a very hot night in NYC wearing a Kymaro’s Backless Bra. I will admit, I was nervous. What if this sucked and I had an embarrassing waldrobe malfunction in the middle of a bar?

Fortunately I did not. I tested out the Kymaro bra (which come in black and nude) one size up from my normal size and it worked out perfectly. The bra was just sticky enough to last through the night…but not too sticky where it was painful to pull it off later that night. The bra provided the necessary support that some sticky bras lack — and that some girls desperately need.

One feature I particularly liked was that the bra could be worn connected by a clip in the front, or with two separate cups. That way if your backless dress also had a very plunging neckline, you were set. I also really liked that they were not overly padded…which seems to often be the trend with sticky bras.

Get your reusable Kymaro backless bra HERE for $19.95 (and don’t forget to buy one bra size up!).
