For years Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber kept us on our toes with their on-again off-again relationship, but it seems like we won’t have to ask the “are they/aren’t they” question any more since Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have just announced their engagement.
Just last October, after Gomez broke things off with The Weeknd, she started seeing Bieber again, making it all the more surprising that Bieber and Baldwin got engaged so quickly. But Gomez seems to be officially over him, because she isn’t letting their relationship get to her.
She’s been spotted out in New York the past few days looking happy as ever. On Sunday she was hanging with her friends on a boat cruise around Manhattan, and yesterday (right before the news of Bieber’s engagement broke) she was seen in NYC rocking a new, longer hairstyle (which looks stunning, by the way).

A source told E! News that Gomez is completely over her ex, and doesn’t care that he’s engaged to someone new. The insider said, “Selena is definitely on a different path right now and in a much better place since Justin is out of the picture. Mentally, she is done with him,” and she’s just focused on herself for right now.
Another source said, “At this point, [Selena’s] just trying to focus on her own life and her own happiness. She wishes him the best. She’s not going to get caught up in what he’s doing. She’s found her happy place and is focused on what’s working for her.”
