Ryan Reynolds had quite the response when Entertainment Weekly asked if he would ever want a son. Without even a moment’s hesitation, People‘s Sexiest Dad Alive dove into his explanation of why he “loves being surrounded by estrogen.”
As we already expected, his reasoning has a lot to do with his little girl, James: “Having a daughter was a dream come true for me…I never admitted it out loud, to myself or my wife, but I really wanted a little girl. It’s the best.”
Reynolds also erased any doubt we had that James could be an only child: “If I could have nine daughters, I would be thrilled…I wonder if we’ll have a boy one day, I wonder how that’ll go.” We personally wouldn’t object to a half-Lively, half-Reynolds boy walking around. Fingers crossed!
