Couples who can comfortably make fun of each other, stay together. That’s why I have absolute faith in Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.
In the new trailer for Reynolds’s upcoming flick Deadpool 2, which continues with the same ridiculous dirty meta-humor that made the first movie (and ad campaign) super successful, has some amazing and unexpected comedic moments, including a reference to Lively’s Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie franchise.
“Doing the right thing is messy, but if you want to fight for what’s right, sometimes you have to fight dirty,” Deadpool tells his new X-Force team of vigilantes. “That’s why Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is pure pornography.”

Reynolds and Lively may throw jabs at each other, but there’s definitely a lot of love there. The two met during the filming of his first superhero movie, 2011’s Green Lantern, got married in 2012, and now have two kids. “I’m not one for vomiting declarations of sentiment out across the airwaves, but when we had that baby, I fell more in love with my wife than I’d ever been in my entire life.,” Reynolds said on The Late Show with David Letterman. “I couldn’t even believe it.”
I love the Lively-Reynoldses with all my heart and Deadpool with all my heart. I cannot wait to see Deadpool 2!
