Reneé Rapp and Towa Bird’s Relationship Is Just Getting Started

There’s a new celebrity couple in our midst. Reneé Rapp and Towa Bird just made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars Party on March 10 and everyone’s been buzzing over this new celeb relationship ever since.

There’s been rumors flying around for weeks about these two being more than just friends and fans finally have confirmation that Rapp and Bird are, in fact, a couple. From after parties to their chemistry onstage, the signs were all there and most caught on to them. Now that their relationship is finally out in the open, here’s a timeline of Rapp and Bird’s romance, which is just getting started.

Sep. 15, 2023 – March 4, 2024: Bird joins rapp onThe Snow Hard Feelings Tour.

Bird was an opener on Rapp’s Snow Hard Feelings Tour. Fans speculated something was going on between the two artists by their TikTok reposts. Rapp reposted this video of the pair performing “Tummy Hurts” on tour and they looked to be pretty affectionate while sharing the stage.

If this were the only video I had to watch for the rest of my life, I wouldn’t be upset in the slightest.

Jan. 8: Bird supports rapp at theMean Girls Movie Premiere.

In January 2024, Bird supported Rapp at the Mean Girls premiere. They were also spotted together at an after-party.

Feb. 28: Rapp officially announces Her breakup with ex and comes out as lesbian.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Rapp discussed her breakup with TikTok star Alissa Carrington. “It was hard at first. It also depends on the person you’re with, and that can make it tough, and that can make you just want to cry all the time, and it did and it does,” Rapp said.

During the interview, Rapp also discussed how her Sex Lives Of College Girls character, Leighton Murray, helped her define her own sexuality. “I would go home and I would call my friends and I’d be like, ‘I think I’m a lesbian, but I really love my boyfriend. I would want to be with him, but I see him more as a friend.’ So not only was I doing that on the show, publicly, in a big way to so many people, and my family, who had no idea that I was gay, I was also going through it personally. It is f*cking crazy to watch that back,” Rapp said.

Even though Rapp has left the show to focus on her music career, she’s proud of her character’s impact. “It is the coolest thing ever because I’ve only recently started referring to myself as a lesbian, and I’ve only recently been in a relationship where I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’m a lesbian for sure,;” Rapp told  The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s also been the most rewarding, validating, scary and exciting experience ever. So to imagine that that could be like that for somebody else, that makes me love acting.”

March 10: The Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Fans freaked out Rapp and Bird posed together at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars Party. They looked great together, and I’m so shipping them.

Although the Snow Hard Feelings Tour is over, and Rapp is scheduled to perform at Coachella in April 2024. I’m sure we’ll see Bird on stage along with her.
