Though I’ve missed The Suite Life of Zack & Cody since the day it ended, I will say I miss seeing both Sprouse boys acting more than anything. Dylan Sprouse has stayed away from acting while his twin brother, Cole, has been busy playing angsty hottie Jughead on Riverdale. Though Dylan has been away from the cameras for a few years, we no longer have to wait—he’s filming a new movie, and I’m freaking out.

Fans of the Sprouse twins shouldn’t be too shocked about Dylan’s return to acting, as he mentioned wanting to get back into it in an interview with New York Daily News about his wine business, All-Wise Meadery—something he’s been working on during his hiatus. “I’m interested in roles that are human, that have some sort of empathic quality,” he said. “A role I would not do: cool jock. That’s not something I’d be interested in doing. Scripts that make characters a two-sentence description, I’m not interested in.”

Well, it looks like he found the role to bring him back to acting and the evidence is in the Instagram post. Dylan shared a cast pic on his Instagram story, which only made me more excited to see the film—an indie called Carte Blanche, which is only his second acting role since he said goodbye to The Suite Life in 2011.

You may not find any lasting evidence of the film on Dylan’s Insta, but thankfully, director Eva Doležalová has been posting plenty of the cutie on set.

There’s no word on the release date yet, but when it comes, I’ll be ready to watch with excitement because I’ve missed Dylan. One Sprouse just isn’t enough, am I right?

You'll usually find her at a concert or cafe somewhere, which is where she spends majority of her free-time. Talking to band members after their shows is a hobby, along with thrifting & indulging in all aspects of pop culture. After college, she plans to spend more time at concerts, getting paid to write about music and bands.
