Your Body Will Never Be Ready For Panera’s Double Bread Bowls

Hold on to your butts, Panera-lovers — you’re in for some amazing news. The beloved chain responsible for keeping me loaded with carbs and pretending that eating starchy baked potato soup out of a bread bowl is healthy are at it again, this time testing out a new double bread bowl at a few special Panera locations.

The double bread bowl is being marketed as a way to share food (ha, cute) with a pal like you’re eating out of the same dog dish. But it should be noted that with a can-do attitude and a baggy pair of overalls you can achieve anything you set your mind to when it comes to solo bread consumption.

Naturally, such an amazing breakthrough in bread-centric eating is being tested first in Philadelphia, the city of freedom (or something. IDK. I know bread, not tourism slogans.)

This comes after Panera’s launch of a new four cheese grilled cheese sandwich (AKA the LOML), their Modern Caprese Sandwich, Baja Mac & Cheese and Bacon Mac & Cheese, as Bustle notes, so clearly Panera is committed to forging a cheesey, doughy path into your hearts and wallets. (And, like, you can also get a salad too. I guess.)

These beautiful bread creations will be available at Philadelphia Paneras from Sunday, Aug. 5, to Friday, Aug. 31 and then there’s potential for the rest of the U.S. to see them in the future. So I suppose it’s time to start preparing yourselves physically and emotionally for that?
