The iPhone 6s is Coming & it Comes in Pink

Prepare yourselves for the iPhone 6s! That’s right, the newest iPhone is expected to be officially announced on September 9. The new phone’s hardware won’t be vastly different than the iPhone 6. However, the one big change will be the addition of a rose gold pink color option to go along with the silver, gray and gold phones already offered.

Some of the highlights of the new phone are a new force touch screen that uses the same technology as the Apple Watch. Explained simply, force touch is a special technology that Apple uses to make it feel as if you’re pressing a button when you apply more force to the screen, even though the screen remains flat. Force touch will be used for a number of shortcuts such as adding songs to an Apple music playlist with a long press.

For all those Insta addicts out there, the camera will also be receiving a significant upgrade. The current camera on the 6 is eight megapixels while the camera on the 6s will be 12. No word yet on whether the selfie camera will improve, but it seems fairly likely based on other improvements.

Still have a year left on your contract? Never fear, you’ll be able to download iOS9 to your current phone. The new operating system will feature improved shortcuts, a new smart caller ID feature, multi tasking skills and improved battery life, just to name a few.

It’s rumored that you’ll be able to preorder the iPhone 6s starting on September 11. In the meantime you can dream about how fly you’ll look with your new pink iPhone!
