Lindsay Lohan is now at home in Long Island with her mother, Dina Lohan, after visiting the emergency room at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City on Sunday night, reported E! News.
Her father, Michael Lohan, told New York Daily News that she had been dealing with a lung infection for a few weeks leading up to the hospital visit. He blames her severe case of asthma for the scare on Sunday evening, a day after she attended the Size Matters Electronic Music concert in Central Park with friends.
“When she was a kid, we almost lost her a couple of times because of the asthma,” he said.
On Sept. 25, Dina Lohan said her daughter’s hospital visit was not because of the lung infection, but was triggered by the high pollen count in the concrete jungle, reported New York Daily News. Weather.com showed that the pollen count in the city just before Lohan’s hospitalization was at some of its highest levels of the city.
It is possible that Lohan assumed she had bronchitis during the ongoing asthma attack instead of realizing what it actually was. By Sunday, her mother had had enough and the emergency room was their next stop.
Despite the scare and short trip to the Manhattan emergency room, Lohan is back at home with antibiotics and resting. Have no fear, collegiettes! Dina Lohan told E! News that the one and only Cady (pronounced Katie) Heron is at home and “getting better.”
