Vogue had their followers and, well, everyone else in the Twitter-sphere thinking that Kim Kardashian’s former husband, Kris Humphries, would be representing Angelina Jolie in the most devastating celebrity divorce trial of this year.
The magazine’s Twitter account tweeted the article “Everything You Need to Know About Angelina Jolie’s Divorce Attorney,” with a picture of Humphries as the thumbnail.
Always one for a good Twitter joke, Chrissy Teigen quoted the article and added, “1. He likes basketball.”

A slew of others joined in on the joke, but it seems as though Vogue couldn’t fool everyone. No, Kris Humphries wasn’t secretly working toward his law degree during his 72-day marriage to Kim Kardashian or while dribbling a basketball on the NBA court. However, Jolie and Humphries hired the same lawyer, Laura Wasser, to handle their high-profile divorces, hence the mix-up.
While we’re not sure whether Humphries has any interest in pursuing a legal career, it is clear that Jolie hired someone who knows her way around complicated divorces. Brad Pitt, beware.
