In case the state of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s relationship wasn’t already clear, Depp just made it pretty damn obvious. In a tribute to then-wife Heard, Depp once had “SLIM”—a nickname he had for her—tattooed onto his knuckles. A picture taken July 1 shows that he’s already made some adjustments. His tattoo now spells out, “SCUM.”
Of course, Depp is no stranger to having to make changes to tattoos post-breakup. When he and Winona Ryder parted ways, he had his “Winona Forever” tattoo amended to read “Wino Forever.” But this time, it seems like he’s going beyond just changing his tattoo—he’s making a clear statement about how he feels about Heard. It’s a petty, malicious and rude public jab to make; and we don’t know about you, but it seems pretty damn immature to us, too.
