I’m just going to throw it out there right away because you are probably very eager to read this story: Jennifer Lawrence, yes our favorite actress/spirit animal, almost killed a guy once by scratching her butt. Yup. True story.
According to Cosmopolitan, Lawrence shared a story on The Graham Norton Show this past Friday that is somewhat insane but also tbh, totally awesome.
“We were filming [Hunger Games] in Hawaii, and there were sacred rocks. They were, I don’t know, ancestors—who knows? They were sacred and you’re not supposed to sit on them because you’re not supposed to expose your genitalia to them.” But because she is Jennifer Lawrence, she disregarded that small rule and went on to scratch her butt using the rocks. “I, however, was in a wetsuit for this whole shoot so—oh my god, they were so good for butt itching!”
And that’s when it get’s good. “One rock that I was butt-scratching on ended up coming loose. It was a giant boulder and it rolled down this mountain and almost killed our sound guy. This whole station, like, got destroyed. It was a huge, dramatic deal. And all the Hawaiians were like, ‘Oh my god! It’s the curse!’ And I’m sitting in the corner going ‘I’m your curse.’ I wedged it loose with my ass!”
