High Schooler Asks Kate Upton to Prom

We all know that prom can be nerve-wracking for high school boys, but for Jake Davidson mustering up the courage and confidence to ask a girl he liked wasn’t an issue. It is known that oftentimes asking girls in a creative and over-the-top way is the most successful. Davidson, a student at Milken Community High School in L.A, took this advice to heart when he decided to ask Sports Illustrated cover model Kate Upton to his high school prom.

Davidson created a YouTube video titled, “Kate Upton, Will You Go To Prom With Me?” In the video, the high school boy mentions that he’s 5’9, Jewish and adamant on the fact that he and Kate have a lot in common. He even praises her for her cat daddy dance when he says, “That cat daddy video would’ve won an Oscar for best short film.” He then asks her to be his date to his high school prom on May 23.

If you think that’s crazy, you haven’t heard anything yet. Upton responded to Davidson a few days later via Twitter, and even though she didn’t directly say yes, she did say that she “hopes it will work out.” She responded to him by saying, “You can call me Katie if you want! How could I turn down that video! I’ll check my schedule ;)”

What do you think about this? Would you ever ask a celeb to prom? Comment below!
