HC Wake-Up Call: Another Woman Says She Was Groped by Bush, Uber’s Multiple Stops Feature & Taco Bell’s Kit Kat Quesadilla

Good morning Her Campus! With a break-neck news cycle, there is no possible way for you to stay on top of every story that comes across your feeds—we’re all only human, after all.

But, life comes at you fast. So grab a cup of coffee and settle in for this quick and dirty guide to stories you might’ve been sleeping on (like, literally. It’s early.)

A Third Woman Says That George H.W. Bush Groped Her During a Photo Op

After two actresses came forward about being sexually assaulted by former President George H.W. Bush this week, another woman has shared her experience of Bush inappropriately touching her. In an article she wrote for Slate, author Christina Baker Kline revealed that Bush groped her at a 2014 luncheon prior to her appearance at a Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy fundraiser.

Kline wrote, “When it came time for my husband and me to be photographed with him, President Bush beckoned me close…’You wanna know my favorite book?’ he whispered. My husband stood on one side of the wheelchair, and I stood on the other. President Bush put his arm around me, low on my back…’David Cop-a-feel,’ he said, and squeezed my butt, hard, just as the photographer snapped the photo.”

Kline previously kept the experience secret because she didn’t want to look as if she wanted publicity or to harm the literacy foundation, but decided to share after other women went public about similar encounters. “President Bush made clear to me that because I am a woman, I can be objectified, sexualized, reduced to a body part.”

Uber Is Adding a Multiple Stops Feature, So Get Ready to *Really* Live

In a move you probably didn’t consider until now, Uber has announced a new update that will allow users to add up to three stops to their ride. Users who have the latest version of Uber installed began seeing the feature on Thursday, but the capability will gradually appear on the app worldwide. When inserting a destination into Uber, you’ll now see a “+” option, allowing you to add multiple stops and even delete or include locations during your trip. Finally a great solution for getting home after a fun night out with friends!

Taco Bell Is Trying Out a Kit Kat Quesadilla

After debuting the product in Brazil and the United Kingdom, Taco Bell will introduce a Kit Kat quesadilla in Wisconsin to gauge if it would sell well throughout the country. The Kit Kat Chocoladilla will consist of the melted chocolate bars inside a grilled tortilla, and appears alongside the chain’s limited offer of vanilla iced coffee. I don’t really equate Taco Bell with dessert, but this recipe has intrigued me enough to hope that it may come to other states soon.
