Hailey Bieber Isn’t Pregnant, & You Won’t Find Out When She Is

Hailey Bieber graced the November 2023 cover of GQ Hype, and in the accompanying article, she addressed the droves of pregnancy rumors that she’s been at the center of for months, if not years. The model and founder of beauty brand rhode shared her thoughts on all the ongoing pregnancy speculation she’s dealt with along with her husband, Justin Bieber.

There are constant news articles and rumors circulating about Bieber, and recently, some buzz has been around a possible Justin and Hailey Bieber pregnancy. Though Bieber wants to keep it cool, sometimes, the heat under the limelight gets to be too much. “Recently, everybody was like, ‘Oh, my God, she’s pregnant,’ and that’s happened to me multiple times before,” Bieber said to GQ. “There is something that’s disheartening about, ‘Damn, I can’t be bloated one time and not be pregnant?’ It would be a lie if I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, I don’t give a sh*t.’”

For the couple’s fifth anniversary back in September, Hailey posted a picture of her and Justin where they were holding their hands on her belly. This caused people to think she may be pregnant. There was also a video on TikTok that went viral in July, which showed footage of the Biebers with their friends. Someone in the video seems to say, “I know you’re pregnant.” Over time, other pictures and videos have come out of Bieber touching her belly, or showing her from a specific angle, with paps trying to spot a baby bump — all speculation, of course.

Bieber shared much of her life with the world from a young age, but she just wants to keep some things private, including her future pregnancy. “When there comes a day that that is true, you — you, as in the internet, will be the last to know,” Bieber said.

Bieber also went on to talk about how her plans for motherhood have shifted since she’s grown up. Formerly considering raising her kids out of the public eye, Bieber doesn’t really know if that could be a possibility now. Still, Bieber is shocked that people seem to care at all. “And it’s just, honestly, at the end of the day, so hilarious how much people f*cking care. Let me do what I want to do with my body and you guys can do what you want to do with your body — and let’s just let it be that,” Bieber said.

She also talked about those “Nepo Baby” shirt pictures that caused an uproar on the internet earlier this year. She casually wore the T-shirt out in L.A. and in May, Bieber shared with The Sunday Times that she was proud to rock the T and her nepo baby status. In the article, she also shared how she was scared to have kids due to her own experience with public scrutiny.

It seems Bieber can now make light of the situation a bit more, as she joked about matching “nepo baby onesies for any future Baldwin-Bieber offspring” in GQ. Maybe Justin can also put out a special version of his hit song “Baby” when they do officially become parents to their destined nepo baby.
