Getchu a cute workout outfit

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

Hello everyone! My goodness my life has been hectic, I apologize for not blogging sooner! In recent news, my big sister got married (last night, woo!). It was a blast and I am happy to say I am sore from all the dancing..always a good feeling.

Also this weekend my dearest friend Benjamin was a wonderful photographer and took some rockin’ pics of me in my workout gear. Check ’em out, it was BEAUTIFUL outside!

Gettin my lunge on

Gettin some air action..don’t worry about my ridiculous facial expression, it’s truly a difficult task to not have a ridiculous face..

South Austin has an awesome neighborhood trail to run on.

Super cool track shorts. Karate kick (channeling the latest Karate Kid obviously…) Gorgeous blue sky. Get itttt!

Anyhoo, let us begin! My next tip in becoming self-motivated is to wear a SUPER CUTE workout outfit. Seriously, when you’re wearing something cute you feel better about yourself (can I get an amen on that one??). New Balance has the cutest workout clothes with neon colors and girly prints, and they all fit amazing. I’ve modeled some cute exercise outfits in the pictures along this blog, so check out my workout style. Pink is my favorite color, so I am reppin’ a cute hot pink sports bra throughout the photos.

ALSO! My darling Mother called me yesterday to let me know Heidi Klum is coming out with a line of workout clothes for New Balance. I can’t wait! If Mrs. Klum is wearing it & New Balance is making it, obviously it’s going to be cute.

Some of my favorite workout outfit ideas:

  • My roommate sports a baseball cap when she works out. She looks SO COOL and cute. Also, if you didn’t wear makeup, then use it as a little shield from the world! (And to block the sun, of course).
  • My personal favorite workout look is to wear a colored sports bra under an oversized razor tank. The little hint of color under the tank is adorable and a nice contrast.
  • When I work out, I generally like to wear track shorts with built-in undies. This way, if I am stretching no one can see my pretty underwear, instead they get a nice glimpse of the good ol’ built-in panties. New Balance has got some really nice track shorts that won’t show your booty sweat after a tough workout AND come in a selection of colors. What’s not to love about that?
  • Running socks. My workout staple. If nothing else, I always make sure I have a pair of running socks. They have extra thickness at the ball and heel of the sock, so you won’t get blisters. I swear by these things!
  • Perfect fitting shoes. A few years ago I would run and get killer blisters on my feet. I bought new shoes and changed up my socks but it still didn’t matter. It wasn’t until I went to a running store and actually got fitted for a pair that my blisters stopped. Shoes are pricey in general, and good shoes even more so.. But if your shoes are standing in the way (ha, get it?) of allowing you to have a comfortable workout, it’s definitely worth it to spend the big bucks on some good ones.

If you’re wearing a cute outfit, it’s natural to want to show it off! So put on your favorite workout attire and do something active in it!

Tell me about your favorite workout outfits! What makes you feel good?
