The acclaimed actress praised her, saying, “You are as beautiful as Aphrodite, wise as Athena, swifter than Hermes, and stronger than Hercules—all the Gods are with you, and you are with us all to help make the world a better place.”
Her touching birthday message to everyone’s beloved superwoman isn’t a surprise given the major success of Wonder Woman at the box office, which has skyrocketed Gadot’s career, and its symbolic meaning of female empowerment.
Gadot’s inspiring dedication to everyone’s favorite heroine is ridiculously sweet, and it just makes us want to see Wonder Woman on screen sooner rather than later. Wonder Woman 2 is already in the works, so hopefully it won’t be too long until we get to see Gadot on the big screen playing Diana Prince once again.
