True friends have got your back in real life and online, and John Legend is no exception.
In a promo for the next episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian talks about the possibility of having a third child with husband Kanye West. Although this decision involves him in no way, political consultant Stuart Stevens took to Twitter to shade Kardashian.

His tweet alludes to China’s One Child policy, which restricted families from having more than one child in order to control the country’s population. In 2015, the policy was replaced with legislation permitting two children per married couple. Kardashian and West currently have two children, North and Saint.
Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, are couple-friends with Kardashian and West, so naturally John was quick to call Stevens out.

Although Kim (like her sisters) is perfectly capable of her own clapback, it was nice for Legend to defend his friend and call out a rude internet troll.
Keeping it classy, defending friends, married to the hilarious Chrissy Teigen… Just add this to the long list of reasons why John is winning at life.
