‘A Christmas Prince 3’ Is Officially Coming To Netflix & There’s Going To Be A Royal Baby

Who is ready for another trip to Aldovia? On Monday, Netflix announced that a follow-up to the fan-favorite holiday movies A Christmas Prince and A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding is officially happening.

The streaming service announced A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby with a post on Twitter. It included a picture of a sonogram and a baby wearing a crown. The photo included the phrase “Baby makes 3” and teased that the movie will come out this year. Netflix captioned the post with, “Some personal news…”

In the second movie, we last saw Amber and Richard tying the knot. There were some hiccups leading to the big day, including some financial crisis in Aldovia, but the two were obviously met to be and worked things out. In the original film, Amber got herself in a sticky situation by posing as Princess Emily’s tutor, when she was really trying to uncover a story.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amber and Richard aren’t just preparing for a royal baby in the third film. The royal couple will also face an ancient royal curse.

“Amber and Richard host royals from a faraway kingdom to renew an ancient truce, but when the priceless 600-year-old-treaty disappears, peace is put in jeopardy and an ancient curse threatens their family,” according to the Netflix press release, per E! News.

Obviously, fans quickly shared their excitement about the news on Twitter.

There were also some Twitter users calling for a sequel to a different Netflix holiday movie.

Of course, the third movie will take place during Christmastime. It will also be released sometime this holiday season, so you can start off the winter right with a cheesy, yet heartwarming Netflix movie.
