Just when we thought Britney Spears couldn’t lengthen her resume any more, she’s proven all of us wrong – again.
The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported that the X Factor judge plans to pen her own novel once she signs a book deal with It Books. Spears’s rep confirmed the negotiations with It Books to THR while a rep from It Books would not confirm.
It Books, part of HarperCollins, has worked with many musicians to publish their memoirs and autobiographies. However, Spears’s book is said to be a fictional novel. Similar to L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad, the superstar’s novel will include her own experiences throughout her long career.
Spears joins a list of celebrities, including Hilary Duff and Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who have taken their turns at authoring a book.
There is no word yet on when to expect Spears’s next work of art, but we’re already on the edge of our seats waiting to see what the “Baby One More Time” singer will write.
