4 Things You Probs Didn’t Know About ‘Bachelor’ Colton Underwood

Colton Underwood has been stealing hearts across the nation on this season of The Bachelor. *Swoon*

When people think of Colton Underwood they most likely immediatley think about the fact that he’s a virgin (those jokes get old pretty quick!), played professional football and had his heart broken by Bachelorette Becca Kufrin. But aside these things, there is so much more to know about America’s most eligible bachelor…

He has a fear of snakes.

As revealed on the most recent episode of The Bachelor, Colton Underwood is definitely not a fan of snakes. He posted this picture on this Instagram featuring the fearful moment he had with a snake around his neck, while filming The Bachelor in Thailand.

He played on his college football team, the Redbirds of Illinois State.

Colton Underwood was a star player of the Redbirds back in 2013. During that time, his brother Connor was also playing football as a defensive end at Indiana State Univerisity and the two even went up against each other in a game. As you can probably tell, Colton’s family has a history of athleticism—both his mom and dad played sports at Illinois State.

After college, Colton continued playing football for San Diego Chargers.

He was a really good student.

When Colton was a student at Illinois State Univeristy, he not only played hard on the football team but studied hard, too. He majored in business management, and one of his greatest acheivements was being on the honor roll.

He skips the underwear and socks.

In an interview with Footwear News, Colton revealed that he does not wear underwear or socks. He also said during the interview that he owns over 250 pairs of shoes, which is probably more than I’ll ever own. It must be hard keeping all those shoes fresh and sweat-free without socks, amirite?

Since the most recent episode of The Bachelor, 12 women remain. Hometown dates are coming soon and one can only hope for the chance to meet Colton’s family and pets. Make sure to tune in to The Bachelor on ABC, Mondays at 8/7c, to follow Colton’s journey to finding love.
