We were heartbroken when we heard about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s split. But as details emerged, we learned more about the once-perfect couple than we ever thought possible—most of us making us even more sad.
On Tuesday, Jolie was questioned by the FBI in regards to an incident on a plane from France to L.A. An anonymous source reported Pitt physically and verbally abused Maddox, his 15-year-old son, during the flight. It’s also rumored that this was one of the reasons Jolie filed for divorce. Jolie and her kids were asked to walk through the incident for the FBI. Though the questioning, which took place over three hours, was not a part of a formal investigation, what comes out of it will help determine if an investigation is necessary. For some time, Maddox was the only one of the family of six children that Pitt had yet to meet with since the divorce—until yesterday, when the two came face-to-face in the presence of a therapist.
Currently, Jolie has custody of the children. Once the temporary agreement expires, the couple will need to either renew it, or come to a new agreement.
