Without a doubt, some of the best moments from Grey’s Anatomy have been between Meredith and Derek: from the longing glances, to the sweetest words, to the most honest relationship portrayals. They had their ups and downs, but even in the end they both knew without a doubt that there was no one else for them. Meredith and Derek were a love that could only be made for television, so I can’t begin to tell you how I felt during the gut-wrenching episode where, spoiler alert, Derek died after saving all those people from the car crash.
