Ellen DeGeneres, queen of daytime television, is known for surprising fans with generous gifts, and they just seem to be getting better.
Ellen has been celebrating her 60th birthday (HOW?) on the show this week by honoring her superfans, because of course that’s how she wants to celebrate her birthday. On yesterday’s show she brought Maura Gonsalves on stage after reading a letter from Maura’s boyfriend Noah, who has been deployed for more than a year.
Maura revealed that both she and Noah love Ellen’s show, and she even facetimes him so they can watch together. Noah’s letter said that he wanted Maura to be able to attend Ellen’s birthday show. Ellen surprised Maura with tickets to the show, and then something better: Noah! Watch the sweet reunion below:
Ellen also gifted them a six-night trip to Hawaii, because of course she would. I think I speak for all of us when I say we’re blessed to have Ellen DeGeneres, a constant bright spot in the world.
