Corinne Olympios’s Legal Team Is Moving Forward With Their Own Investigation into the ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Incident

Despite a statement from Warner Bros. that said that the investigation into a possible incident of sexual misconduct between contestants Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson on Bachelor in Paradise had concluded, things might not be over just yet.

Only hours after Warner Bros’s announcement, Corinne’s lawyer Martin Singer has released a statement to the Hollywood Reporter saying that her legal team plans to continue with its own investigation into what happened on set.

“It needs to be made crystal clear that production of Bachelor in Paradise was shut down because of multiple complaints received from BIP producers and crewmembers on the set. It was not shut down due to any complaint filed by Corinne against anyone,” the statement reads. “It comes as no surprise that Warner Bros., as a result of its own internal investigation, would state that no wrongdoing had occurred. Our own investigation will continue based on multiple new witnesses coming forward revealing what they saw and heard.”

Bachelor in Paradise‘s producers have confirmed that the show is still set to premiere this summer, but a source reportedly told E! News that Corinne may not be returning to the show, confirming that she never actually filed a complaint about the incident herself. Despite these rumors, ABC hasn’t released any kind of information about who is returning to finish filming season four either.

While we still have tons of questions, it’s looking like Warner Bros’s earlier statement won’t be the final word on what really happened this season.
