Cards Against Humanity Wants to Help You Become a Scientist

The hilarious party game, Cards Against Humanity, announced earlier this year that they would be selling $10 science-themed expansion packs to raise money for its Science Ambassador Scholarship fund. The fund will provide full, four-year scholarships to women pursuing undergradate degrees in STEM (science, technology, engineering or math).

The expansion pack has raised well over $500,000 so far, and the company plans to continue the scholarship program for next year as well. Video applications are currently being accepted and a board of 50 women who are science and engineering professionals will look over the applications.

The Huffington Post reports that Cards Against Humanity has previously donated to needy classrooms through DonorsChoose and the Sunlight Foundation, a nonprofit that advocates for open government.

Seems like a pretty humane company to us.
