Right now, I have tons of friends studying abroad in London, England, so I’m constantly getting tagged in their pictures as random odd things they encounter in the city. (Like this truck with my last night name…)
But the coolest picture I got tagged in was one of a Juicy Couture track suit that is displayed in the fashion section of the Victoria and Albert Museum!
After doing some research, I discovered that the famous Couture Tracksuit was brought into the museum for the first time in 2001 to demonstrate a new era of global fashion. Juicy designers, Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy brought comfort to the runway when they replaced sloppy sweats with sexy athletic. Madonna soon fell in love with the style and is credited as the first celebrity to showcase the tracksuit.
Since then, many stars have been seen sporting the glam, comfortable look:
Eva Longoria
Jennifer Lopez
Paris Hilton
Kim Kardashian
Tori Spelling’s entire bridal party
