Billie Lourd’s First Statement Since Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds’ Deaths Has Us in Tears

With the sudden passing of her beloved mother, Carrie Fisher, and grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, it’s no surprise that Scream Queens star Billie Lourd has been quiet on social media as she tries to deal with these enormous losses. However, she broke her silence with an Instagram post yesterday and had us all in tears with her sweet message.

Lourd captioned the photo, “Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist. There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me.”

Fisher and Reynolds had an immense impact through the roles they played in films, as well as off the screen. Lourd’s mother was passionate about erasing the stigma behind mental illness and inspired so many people to accept themselves for who they are. As for her grandmother, she was a movie legend who was incredibly loved.

Amidst a devastating turn of events for Lourd and her family, we can only hope she can manage to stay strong following the passing of her “Abadaba” and “Momby.”
